Mira-mira

At the end of the exhibition Twenty Faces and Three Crowds, the Fundació Suñol is organizing an artistic performance in collaboration with La Caldera les Corts, a creative factory dedicated to the arts of movement, with which the Fundació Suñol has already collaborated. in 2019 in the performance We Can Dance by the artist Esther Rodríguez Barbero, and which was presented as part of the O-brim!
The artist Rosa Romero presents us with a proposal born of her own body, with the desire to generate complicity between body, movement and gaze within the framework of a space surrounded by works of art that look at us and they ask to be looked at.
The mira-mira is a movement from Debut, Rosa Romero's first solo and the first movement in her Catalog of extraordinary movements. The mira-mira works like a spell, because in this obligation to look, all the obscure arts of what we call theater (or dance, or performance, ritual, play) are hidden. Rosa says look at me and in this order the idea materializes that maybe she has never been looked at, that maybe she is being looked at for the first time, as if she had always been hidden and in mourning preparing this moment.
