Political Choreography Conferences

Jornadas de coreografía política

Mapping new ways of doing choreography

Organized within the research framework of the PhD in Philosophy at the Universitat Autònoma, with the collaboration of La Caldera Les Corts, the Conference will be a series of free conferences and workshops with which we will seek to create tools to approach new ways of doing choreographies, taking into account that they have strengthened their closeness to social environments. We take as starting point a theoretical line, of increasing influence within the field of dance studies, which has understood choreography as intrinsically social art and as a means of political repercussions. We will draw together a cartography of the choreography of our century under the lens of the political.
